Tailor-made Products and Services for Diverse Role Recruitment Solutions

Background

At OPC Assessment, we frequently receive client requests for recommendations on which assessment tools might be the most effective at helping to identify the best talent for a specific role. Our expert psychologists are on hand to deliver bespoke, and timely recruitment solutions for your role. Recently we’ve been asked to propose assessment tools and recruitment support for a wide variety of roles from control room staff, tram drivers, and station roles through to management and leadership positions.

Our Process

Step 1: Understanding Your Client Needs

When a client reaches out, we arrange a detailed discussion, either via Teams or in person. We’ll thoroughly review job descriptions and person specifications to fully understand requirements. Based on these, we will recommend appropriate assessment tools backed up by comprehensive analysis, giving you well-informed recommendations; details of what each tools evaluates, and any associated fees. Many of the tools recommended are available online, making it easy for clients and candidates. We offer samples for many of our tools, so clients can try them firsthand. We will also recommend any practice materials to help candidates prepare in advance, and do their best on the day.

Step 2: Flexible Assessment Options

In addition to assessment tool recommendations, we offer flexible options for managing the assessment process. If clients aren’t suitably qualified to administer and interpret psychometric tools, they can either:

  • undergo specialist psychometric test training, e.g. Test User: Occupational, Ability (TUO-A), to run the assessments themselves, or
  • use our versatile Bureau Service where The OPC can oversee and manage the entire process – from candidate invitations through to scoring and short-listing, or just provide support on test administration and interpretation. Contact us for more details about our Bureau Service.

Some clients opt for a hybrid approach, using our Bureau Service while working towards their own TUO-A certification. Recently, we've been especially busy supporting clients across the UK and internationally, providing training and conducting in-person TUO-A sessions at locations convenient for them.
