Safe Concentration and Attention Test (SCAAT) Practice

SCAAT Practice Test - Free Sample (PDF)

The Safe Concentration and Attention Test (SCAAT) is a concentration test that may be used for safety critical roles and/or roles that require you to concentrate for long periods of time for repetitive and/or monotonous tasks. The SCAAT Practice Test is ideally suited for those within the transport industry where concentration on a mundane task is essential, such as a Train Driver or Lookout.

The NEW SCAAT Practice Test (PDF) now consists of three practice tests with specific instructions that are similar to the actual SCAAT. This will give you a better understanding of the test and an opportunity for you to practice under time pressure.

If you have applied for a job role you may have been asked to sit the SCAAT. This practice test gives you additional information on the following to help you do your best on the actual test i.e.:

  • guidance on how to score your practice test
  • have access to the answers so you can see where you went wrong
  • feedback on your performance to help you improve

Try the free sample or purchase the full length SCAAT Practice Test in PDF format by clicking 'add to basket'. You will need to print out the test.

"The OPC Assessment Practice Tests were a great way to prepare for the SCAAT test. I used a stopwatch and this proved to be an excellent preparation for working with speed and accuracy under time pressure. The practice tests were well worth doing as I felt so much more confident when it came to completing the SCAAT Test. Reading the instructions given for each practice test meant I was familiar with the structure in advance. The information in the Answers and Feedback booklet was excellent too. Thank You."

Why Practice?

The purpose of a practice test is to familiarise you with what will be expected of you when you complete the real test. It is not a mini version of the real test, nor is it intended to train you to pass the real test. Therefore, you will find the contents of the practice test to be similar, but not identical to the real test.

Regardless of whether you are sitting an online or paper version of the test, the practice materials will still help you to do your best, even if you do the practice on paper.

If you have been invited to complete a test designed by OPC Assessment, it is recommended you practice for that test with authorised practice materials that have also been designed by OPC Assessment.
