Practice makes perfect - Situational Judgement Test

Posted on 22nd August 2017

Situational Judgment Tests (SJT) are becoming increasingly popular in assessment centres. SJTs involve presenting a candidate with a situation that they might face in the workplace and then possible solutions on how to deal with the situation. The candidate rank orders the solutions in order of preference, i.e. what do they believe is the best option for dealing with the situation, then what is the next best option, and so on.

If you’ve been asked to sit an SJT for a role that you have applied for, get prepared with the SJT practice that gives you insight into:

  • what an SJT is;
  • what they are used for; and,
  • practice examples to try.

You can also check out our range of other practice tests.
